Road Traffic Collision - Proved to be a single vehicle Mini Bus involved with 12 casualties injured. 7 casualties suffered serious injuries at the incident. Released casualties taken to both Leeds General infirmary and Pinderfields hospital in Wakefield.

Flat Fire MP x 4 Incident with persons reported - Proved to be a 3 storey building fire with fire in stairwell and flats heavily smoke logged. 2 persons rescued by Fire service personnel. 1 female was treat at scene by paramedics and a further casualty suffered an angina attack.

House Fire Persons Reported - Proved to be a bungalow with Kitchen involved in fire. Crews used 1 Hosereel jet and 2 Breathing apparatus. Breathing apparatus wearers lifted 1 female and passed her through the window to waiting fire service personnel. Oxygen therapy was administered until the arrival of ambulance who transported her to St James Hospital

House Fire Persons Reported - Proved to be a chip pan involved left unattended, Crews used 1 Hosereel jet, 2 Breathing apparatus and Positive pressure ventilation fan. Female adult was led to safety by Fire Service personnel and female child escaped through aground floor window prior to our arrival. They were both taken to hospital by ambulance suffering smoke inhalation.

Road Traffic Collision - Proved to be Heavy goods vehicle and 2 cars involved, with no persons trapped. Goods vehicle had crossed the central reservation and spilled its load of drilling equipment and a large container. Three casualties were taken to Huddersfield Royal infirmary by ambulance. Fire crews engaged in making the scene safe

Flat Fire - Proved to be a kitchen involved, crews used 1 Large jet, 4 Breathing apparatus and a Positive pressure ventilation fan. Two adult females suffered with smoke inhalation, both where taken to Leeds General Infirmary by ambulance for a precautionary check up.

Flat Fire - Proved to be a fire out on arrival, this was a sterilising unit left in a pan, one adult female and one baby where taken to hospital by ambulance, both where suffering with smoke inhalation.

14/07/2010 - 22:46 - Lennox Road, Portsmouth, Todmorden
House fire, on arrival fire crews made this persons reported, this was a kitchen fire, a pan left unattended, 1 male occupant was rescued through a window by fire service personnel, he was taken to Rochdale Hospital by ambulance for a precautionary check up, 1 hose reel and 2 breathing apparatus where used to put the fire out.
Appliances attended from Todmorden and Bacup. Smoke detectors where fitted and working.

Building Fire MP x 5 for water only - Proved to be a farm building 40m x 40m, with 20% involved in fire. Building used for livestock however no animals were involved. Crews used 2 Hosereel jets and 4 Breathing apparatus. Supporting appliances were use for water relay shuttle to the incident

House Fire Persons Reported - Proved to be a semi detached property well alight on arrival of fire crews. Female adult casualty rescued by neighbour and children by Fire service personnel Breathing apparatus wearers. Appliances from Bradford and Idle attended. This incident involved 2 fatalities both children with the mother left in a critical condition.

Building Fire MP x 10 Incident. Building 70m x 30m used as farm shop and restaurant with 50% involved in fire. Crews used 2 Hosereel jets, 3 Ground monitors and 6 Large jets. Propane gas cylinders were also located on the site and required cooling. There were also some animals on the site of which most were saved.

Tyres on fire MP x 6 Incident - Proved to be a fire involving a derelict vehicle and a large amount of tyres, smoke also entered a neighbouring electricity sub station but this was not directly involved in the fire. Crews used 2 large jets, this incident was quickly reduced to 2 pumps fire not as severe as first thought..
Appliances from Featherstone (8401), Normanton (8801), Garforth (2301), Knottingley (8601), Wakefield (8002) and Rothwell (9101) attended. Further supporting appliances were mobilised but the majority were returned prior to their arrival at the incident.

Fire in storage area - MP x 25 and ALP x 3 Incident
Firefighters from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, assisted by South and North Yorkshire and GMC have been fighting a large fire with 25 appliances throughout the night. The fire was fought defensively. They have saved the fire from spreading to a nearby sorting office and residential properties. They have fought the fire using jets and foam attack. We have been liaising with the police reference evacuation of private properties and the Holiday Inn hotel.
