Small fire in outbuilding, crews used 1 Hosereel jet and 2 Breathing apparatus. Onemale child self rescued from property suffering smoke inhalation, Oxygen therapy administered by Fire service personnel and casualty transferred to hospital by ambulance.

4 vehicles involved, 1 elderly female trapped was trapped with an extrication carried out by Fire service personnel. Casualty transferred to hospital by ambulance.

Flat Fire Persons Reported - Proved to be
smoke from grill pan/oven caused smoke alarm to actuate.  Crews used 1 Hosereel jet and 3 Breathing apparatus sets. One 12 month old male child and 1 female adult rescued from flat by fire crews and taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.

Flat Fire Persons Reported - Proved to be a ground floor flat kitchen involved. One elderley female casualty was led to safety by Fire Service suffering from slight smoke inhalation but refused treatment or to go to hospital. Crews used 1 Hosereel jet, 2 Breathing apparatus sets. The fire damage was contained to the kitchen but the flat was heavily smoke logged.

Road Traffic Collision - Proved to be 2 vehicles involved with 2 persons trapped one in each vehicle. Crews had to remove the roof from one vehicle. Ambulances took the casualties to hsopital when free from vehicles.

House Fire - Proved to be fire started by an electric blanket. The flames, in the attic damaged the blanket and the carpet while smoke from the fire spread to the rest of the home. Crews used 1 Hosereel jet 2 Brething apparatus sets and Positive Pressure Ventilation

Person locked in - Proved to be elderly lady had fallen out of bed. The daughter was unable to get in as the woman had left her keys in the lock on the other side of the door. Fire crews gained entry to the flat and paramedics gave her a precautionary check, but she was fine.”

Flat Fire - Proved to be bedroom involved well alight,Watch commander Richard Lightowler said no one was in the flat at the time.“When we got there the whole bedroom was fully involved in fire and there were flames shooting out of the window. “It took us around ten minutes to get the fire under control, but we were there for three hours investigating the cause.”

Tony Pearson, watch commander at Keighley fire station, said: “Fluff does collect in tumble driers and we do advise people to clean them out and get them serviced from time to time. On this occasion the smoke detector proved its worth and both occupants got out OK.

Mount Zion Road, Kilner Bank, Huddersfield
House Fire - Proved to be end terraced property100% involved in fire. Firefighters and police fear residents may have been trapped in the home on Mount Zion Road when it burst into flames at 1.50am this morning. Emergency crews were unable to get into the property due to the flames and falling debris. Searches are to be carried out within the property once it is safe to do so, in order to check for any persons that may have been involved in the incident.
