Mercedes Urban Appliances
Two Mercedes Urban Appliances go on the run in the Brigade
Both of the two new Mercedes Urbans are now on Station . They are based at
Todmorden and Holmfirth Fire Stations. Although there were initial problems with Stowage, Weight and Brake issues these have now been ironed out. There
were also training implications which caused delays also. However as
these first images show from back in 2006, the machines look great and will enhance the brigade
fleet.

These appliances have not replaced there larger Volvo counterparts at the stations that now have Urban appliances.
UPDATE
The Urban appliances have been returned to Fire Service Workshops at Birkenshaw. These machines have not been on the run at any of there allocated stations.
