hi FlynnyStn47, thanks for the message, much appreciated. . . i know a guy who works at gipton fire station and even he has said in his opinion its the best job in the world! Ive been to gipton station a number of times and watched them do drills in the yard which were brilliant. Everytime i go up there i just want to join even more! its just the wait for the recruitment now really, dont suppose you have a rough idea on when it starts at all? thanks again, jamie

Hi Dave,

Yeah, Jasons a pretty cool bloke and very layed back. I'm the good looking one of the two (confirm me as a friend on facebook and you'll see). Jason got into the FRS on the first attempt some people can try for years (makes you sick does'nt it, LOL) I'm on another web site called 'fire service resorces' same user name -are you on there too? On facebook you'll see some pics of me at a firefighter challenge day with Lancs FRS. I got to do hose running, confined space crawl and just generally got shouted at for 8 hours!!!!! lots of fun and a good insight into the FRS and together we rised over £4.5k for the f/f charity. When W/Yorks recruit again I'll have to book a visit to the station, I'll get 'Jasper 1' to arrange a time, and I can put a face and voice to a user name.
Anyway, bye for now....

You based at Odsal? you might work with my brother Jason Broadley. I'm just waiting for this years recruitment to start, Oct I think, Then you never know might be two Broadleys at the station!!!
