At least West Yorkshire are buying a vehicle that's built in this country! I've just had to get rid of my Discovery....two aging mothers that can't get into the thing now! My moment of fame was to pull a Jeep AND twin axle caravan out of a boggy field. Essence! I've been all over in it, and never got stuck once.....broke my heart to see it go down the road....

I presume that these are for Todmorden and Holmfirth to replace the unsuitable Sprinters.
Graham do you know what has happened to the Multistars that were expected.

Wayne,
The Multistars have had problems but since you message I have spoken to workshops and they should be arriving Mid 2009.
The Land rovers are extra to the appliances on order for this year of which 2 will be smaller to replace the Sprinters at Holmfirth and Todmorden.
The Land Rovers are for moorland firefighting work
