I have also seen a yellow helmet with a white top on it.

Also, I have noticed that some stations are using the new helmets alongside the old, As the phaseout begins.

Regards.
Mark.

Bit of info for you on the helmet thing. The red face on the helmet denotes an "instructor" at HQ. Though if you see a red face on a helmet at an incident, the visual services dept use this colour scheme too. The white face on a yellow helmet helmet used to be for an "in development" watch manager, however, the use of this colour scheme has now been phased out.
When you have seen the new style Rosenbauer helmet being used alongside the old Cromwell 600 helmet, that was when the new helmets were "on trial". The trial was successful and now all WYFRS personnel have been issued with a brand new dayglo Rosenbauer helmet. A bit heavy and slightly uncomfortable, but so far so good.
I hope this has answered your queries.

The new helmets are similar to the WW2 German helmets, But in yellow.Lol!!

I was just getting used to the cromwell 600's, After my favourite 1980's cromwells.

It is a shame that the WY badge is tiny compared to the old helmets.
