Jack Parker was my Grandad, the anniversary of his death has just gone when he passed away when i was 1 so im posting this to see if there is any pics or stories that people know of as i would like to find out alittle bit more about career

Farewell Brian Robson

Ex Area Manager Brian Robson has just retired from the service after 30 years.

Met Brian on numerous times, And I can say that Brian was always pleasant and good company, Brian will not be saying goodbye for long as he is Chairman of the Pipe Band, And Brian is also involved in the organisation of the annual 999 show at FSHQ.

A farewell function send off was made for Brian on Thursday at FSHQ.

Brian started in 1982 and served Brighouse, Todmorden, South Elmsall, Knottingley and was also the Bfd Area Commander during the Bfd riots.

All the very best wishes to Brian and he will be missed by many people in the service.

A friend of the family wants a quote for a night out etc in the engine.

She is wanting it for a prom night for her daughters school in Tyersal (Bfd) June 2012.

How many passengers does the engine carry and how long will the booking be ?

I am just asking if you can possibly place all the past few weeks images etc into a folder on here, The same as when you had the others on the slidshows 1,2,3.

I have missed some of the past few weeks.

The Terrance Cullens Video footage is excellent considering it's age.

Don't know much about UWX but more about VWR 677L it's lookalike!!

Hi Mark

Long time since i heard from you. Hope you are well.

The fire at Oakroyd Dyeing on Thornton Road was another incident which i attended.

This fire began as a turnout with one pump to a reported skip on fire. It verty quickly escalated to fifteen pumps and a large building fire. Red watch were there all night and also the following night.

The blast from the past series is excellent and brings back many memories of bradfords largest fires.

Her sister KWY 735L is still alive as a pick up truck in Huddrsfield..:(
