female occupant suffered smoke inhalation and was given oxygen therapy at the
scene by Fire service personnel and was then transported to Airedale General
Hospital by ambulance. Smoke detectors were fitted and did actuate.

bathroom involved. Crews used 1 Hosereel jet and 4 Breathing
apparatus. 3 persons self rescued and 1 person rescued by a 105 ladder
from 2nd floor window. A neighbour assisted rescue of the 3 persons by
laying down a mattress under the window to enable the 3 persons to jump
out. All 4 persons were transported to hospital by ambulance. Fire
survival guidance was given to 1 female in the flat by a Fire Control
Operator in Mobilising whilst further guidance was also given to a member of
the public in the garden of the property, which was then relayed to other
occupants of the property who were stuck in the flat in another room. Smoke
detectors were fitted and working in the property.
