Road Traffic Collision - 1 car involved which crashed into a wall, car ended up
part hanging over a drop after crashing through the wall. On the arrival of
fire service, female driver was still in the vehicle, but not physically
trapped, crews used a winch to secure the vehicle before the driver could be
safely released from the vehicle. Driver was checked over by ambulance crews
but was uninjured.

Bingley Road, Cross Roads, Haworth
Animal Rescue - roved to be a Shire horse that had fallen in a field and
ended up in a slight hollow half wedged against a wall. Horse was unable to
right itself. Fire crews attended and attempted to right the horse with the
assistance of a local farmer and a vet. Attempts
were unsuccessful and the Major Rescue Unit and support crew were requested to
assist. Crews used the horse sling off the unit to attempt to right the horse,
but unfortunately this also proved unsuccessful and the vet had to put the
horse to sleep.
