male occupier suffered slight burns to hand and face and visited Garforth

of 2nd floor flat by Fire Crews using 1 Hosereel jet and 2 Breathing apparatus.

House Fire - Proved to be a small fire in 1st floor bedroom of semi detached
house, crews used 1 Hosereel jet , 2 Breathing apparatus and a Positive
Pressure Ventilation fan. 1 female occupant suffered shock and was given oxygen
therapy by fire service personnel, ambulance attended but casualty did not
require treatment and did not attend hospital.

Serious House Fire - Fire in attic of terraced property involved, On arrival firefighters were faced
with a fire in the attic. A woman and two children were taken to Leeds General
Infirmary – the woman suffered burns and smoke inhalation and the two children
smoke inhalation. Unfortunately the fire proved fatal to a third child.

Motorway M62, Junction 22 to 23 Eastbound
Double Decker Coach MP x 6 Incident - Coach on hard shoulder of motorway, 100%
involved in fire. All 13 passengers were off the coach on arrival. There
were no persons involved or injured. Crews used 3 Hosereel jets and 3
Breathing Apparatus sets. The make up was for water relay.

(6301) and 3 pumps from Greater Manchester Fire Service attended.
House fire - Proved to be a chip pan involved. 1
female aged approx 70 years rescued. She suffered smoke inhalation and was
given oxygen therapy but did not attend hospital.

by member of the public prior to fire service arrival. Ambulance requested for

overturned. 3 casualties free prior to fire service arrival .
RAF helicopter in the area was requested and landed to assist. Two casualties taken to hospital by ambulance 1 casualty
transported by helicopter.

House fire Persons Reported - On arrival at incident crews made this persons
reported, fire in roof void which then broke through roof of premise, 40%
involved in fire. Crews used 1 large jet, 2 Hosereel jets and 4 Breathing
apparatus. All persons were accounted for.

(8201) attended. The Major Salvage Unit (8712) also attended.

Road Traffic Collision - Incident proved to be three cars involved with one
person trapped and extricated by Fire service.

Hose Layer x 1 - School buildings involved in fire approx 70m x 30m. Crews used
7 Large jets, 3 Hosereel jets and Aerial Ladder
Platform. Incident rose from initial MP x 6 ALP x 1 to
12 pumps, 20 pumps and then finally 25. The incident is

crews used 2 Breathing apparatus and 1 fire extinguisher, 1 female resident
suffered smoke inhalation and was transported to St James Hospital by ambulance.

Bradley Road
Animal Rescue - Report of a cat that had fallen down a well and was stuck in
water at the bottom. On arrival of fire crews the cat had got onto a ledge and
was stuck approx 10 feet down the well. Crews used ladder and rope restraint to
enter the well to rescue the cat.

House Fire Persons Reported - Proved to be the bedroom involved, 1 female
rescued from 1st floor bedroom. Crews used 2
Hosereel jets and 4 Breathing apparatus and casualty treated with oxygen by
Fire service personnel, she suffered 20% burns and taken to Huddersfield Royal
Infirmary by paramedics.

engaged damping down throughout the night using Ground monitors and ALP.
Demolition of the site began this morning and crews are still in attendance
