in the middle of an industrial complex, additional pumps were required for
water, aerial appliance was also sent but stood down prior to its arrival,

Elderly male who had fallen down a steep banking and ended up approximately 6
feet down and stuck in brambles, gentlemen had recently
had a shoulder operation and due to this was unable to extricate
himself, crews extricated the casualty from the brambles and then put him on a longboard and pulled him back up the banking, casualty was
then left in the care of ambulance crews, but not thought that he needed
hospital treatment.

House Fire Persons Reported - On arrival this proved to be bins on fire outside
the property which caused damage to a canopy above the door and also heavy
smoke logging to an upstairs flat. Crews used 1 Hosereel jet and 2 Breathing
apparatus. 1 male occupant of the upstairs flat, was led
to safety by fire crews and then transported to hospital by ambulance
suffering from smoke inhalation. The casualty was given fire survival guidance
by a Mobilising centre operator up to the arrival of appliances, as he was
unable to exit his property safely due to the heavy smoke logging.

A busy evening throughout the brigade area, but no incidents of note other than
those reported below.
In total Mobilising centre have received 435 Calls. Of
these 140 were small fires in the open which required extinguishing, this
includes 59 bonfires.
Fire cars were operating in the
27 property fires in total, this includes 21 vehicle fires, 2 house fires and 4
building fires. Crews attended 41 calls that proved to be false alarms, this
was mainly Automatic fire alarms accidentially
actuated, bonfires that were under control and 5 calls
that proved to be malicious.
