Garage Fire - 1st Alarm Incident MP x 4, Fire in a domestic garage approx 15m x 15m, 100 % involved in fire, spread to roof of bungalow, Persons reported at one stage however all accounted for. Garage contained Acetelyne, Propane and Oxygen cylinders. 2 Hosereels,1 Large jet, 4 Breathing apparatus used with 2 Ground monitors later to cool cylinders in garage.

Building fire - Ground floor function room involved, 20m x 20m, 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels were used. 1 male casualty aged approx 35 years was rescued from the first floor and given oxygen therapy by paramedics but refused hospital treatment.

Bonfire Night

In the 6 hours from 18:00 to midnight West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue dealt with over  450 emergency calls to the Control Centre (MACC) at Birkenshaw. Fire crews dealt with a range of incidents from Fires in open, Dangerous bonfires, Car fires, House fires and Building fires. The busiest area was Bradford with appliances from around the county moving closer as the night went on.
Crews have attended approx 150 small fires including bonfires, 12 car fires and 15 property fires including 7 house fires.
