House Fire. Proved to be fire out on arrival, Ambulance requested for 1 adult
female and 1 male child suffering from smoke inhalation.

Appliances already in attendance damping down from earlier incident MP x 6 Incident - approx 2 square kilometres of moorland involved, at present crews constructing a fire
break. Police have been requested for traffic control. Further assistance
message MP x 10 at this incident.
Proved to be 7 miles of moorland involved with a 2 mile front along the Main A58 road. Crews used 3 Large jets and 13 Beaters. West Yorkshire Police Helicopter
used for assessment of the situation from the
air with a Fire officer aboard. Crews are hampered with the severe changing
winds.

Animal Rescue - Report of a deer stuck in weir on the River Wharfe.
Fire service crews attended and personnel were lowered to the River bank using
line rescue restraints, to assess the situation and the condition of the deer.
The deer then managed to get out of the river without any assistance and fire
crews then withdrew and after liaising with RSPCA it was left so the deer could make its own way back
to where it had come from.

Aircraft in Distress - Reports of a light aircraft carrying 8 passengers
due to land at the airport with cabin pressurisation problems. Fire
appliances requested to standby for safety. On arrival airport control
tower confirmed aircraft was no longer in difficulty and had landed
safely. All fire appliances stood down and incident dealt with by airport
crews.

House Fire - Proved to be kitchen involved crews used 1 Hosereel jet, 4
Breathing apparatus and Positive Pressure Ventilation fan. 2 young
children were taken to hospital with smoke inhalation. Appliances from
Gipton (2401 2402) and Stanks (2801) attended. Also volunteers from Red
Cross attended with Fire Victim Support vehicle.

single storey building where involved in fire. 3 Hosereel jets and 4 Breathing

House Fire - Proved to be a chip pan involved, 1 Hosereel jet, 2 Breathing
apparatus used. 1 female casualty suffered burns to both hands, she was treated
by Fire service personnel with a burn shield and given pain relieving gas and
air, she was taken to Harrogate General Infirmary by
ambulance.

female occupant was rescued by Fire service Breathing
apparatus wearers, casualty suffered smoke inhalation and has been taken by
ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary.
