under demolition), approx. 30m x by 80m, 30% of roof involved in fire,

Breathing Apparatus used. 1 Adult female, heavily pregnant, suffered from smoke
inhalation. Fire Service administered Oxygen Therapy and casualty was
transported to hospital by ambulance. Smoke detectors were fitted, but
inappropriately placed and did not activate.

Building Fire - 2nd Alarm Incident, Aerials x 1. Three
storey derelict building involved approx 20m x 30m, 1st and 2nd floors and roof
100% involved in fire. 3 Large jets, 1 Ground monitor and 1 Jet from Aerial
Ladder Platform used. Crews fought the fire from outside due to unsafe
structure of building.

High Level Rescue - Three people reported trapped on ledge approx 50ft up.
Level 2 rope rescue
carried out. One adult and two children rescued and brought to safety by Fire
crews

Building Explosion - Total collapse of a bungalow approx
5m x 4m with possible persons reported. Crews involved in search and rescue and
shoring property to assist in searching. Search proved no persons involved. Gas
isolated and made safe. Police made road closures and evacuations of adjoining
properties till area declared safe.

ventilation fan used. 1 male casualty rescued from roof of
house and taken to Hospital by Ambulance suffering from smoke inhalation.

Gas Leak - Proved to be a fractured gas pipe nearby flats
evacuated. Gas board attended to isolate supply. Crews stood by until work
carried out. Police also attended.

Road Traffic Collision - Heavy goods vehicle and car
involved, Lorry on it's side with 2 persons trapped in
car underneath. Extrication in progress. RAF Rescue
Helicopter scrambled to attend incident to assist with casualty transfer.

at the rear of Leeds Station, Fire service rescued youth from water using water
rescue sled. Youth then handed over into care of ambulance crews.

in garden, starting a fire which caused the burns, male casualty suffered
approx 40 per cent burns to arms, chest, face and airway and was transported to
Leeds General Infirmary by ambulance.
