Water Rescue - 2 youths in boat grounded in middle of fast flowing River Wharfe. Wetherby crew rescued youths by throwing out
a line and pulling the boat and youths towards the edge of the river to
safety. Other specialist water rescue teams were mobilised but returned
prior to arrival

down on canal side. Rescued by Fire Service using ropes and stretcher and

Animal Rescue MP x 3 MRU x 1 Incident - Proved to be horse stuck in a bog,
incident considerable distance from roadway. Crews assisted RSPCA
and vet with getting horse out of the bog and back onto its feet, horse was
suffering from exhaustion and crews assisted in giving it oxygen therapy whilst
it recovered and then moving it into a nearby stable. USAR
team has been requested to attend to assist. Further information to follow
