Building Fire MP x 6 Aerials x 2 Incident - Derelict
factory unit of 2 storeys involved in fire. Ground floor 100% involved on
arrival of crews. Due to severity of fire building was 100% involved and crews
used 4 large Jets, 1 Ground Monitor and 2 Aerial Ladder Platforms.

Building Fire - Proved to be a building approx 15m x 20m under renovation
involved, Heavily smoke logged. Entry made into property fire involved a skip inside, Crews used 2 Hosereel jets, 4 Breathing apparatus
and Positive Pressure Ventilation fan.

adjacent flat. 1 female occupant taken to Dewsbury
district hospital by ambulance suffering smoke inhalation.

Swillington Organic Farm,
Animal Rescue - Report of 2 goats stuck in mud. On arrival goats proved to be
stuck in mud in a narrow underground culvert, a JCB was used to assist with
digging away to aid Fire crews with releasing the goats. The rescue in total
took approx 3 hours.

M62 Motorway Westbound Junction 26.
Road Traffic Collision - Incident involved a Land Rover and trailer overturned,
both well alight. LPG cylinders also involved on Landrover. Crews used 2
Hosereel jets, 2 Breathing apparatus and Thermal image camera to check
temperature of tanks. Water shuttle was used due to water shortage on the
motorway. Persons out of vehicle on arrival of Fire Service.
Highways agency and Police attended for road closure.

M606 Motorway, Southbound near Euroway Trading
Estate.
Road Traffic Collision - Single vehicle involved left the carriageway and came
to rest between the Embankment and a Building. 4 Turfors
used to stabilise the vehicle, Air Bags and Shoring timber used to raise vehicle
in order to release casualties.Both casualties
extricated and transported by road ambulance to Bradford Royal Infirmary with
non life threatening injuries.

House Fire Persons Reported - Proved to be a detached garage involved, Crews
used 2 Hosereel jets, 3 Breathing apparatus and Positive Pressure ventilation.
All persons were accounted for with 2 male youths suffering burns, 1 to his
torso and left leg, the other to his hands and buttocks, burn shield applied by
Fire service, both taken to Pinderfields Hospital by
ambulance.

Road Traffic Collision - Incident involved a car into scaffolding collapsed on
vehicle, 2 casualties released prior to arrival of Fire Service. Crews engaged
in making vehicle safe.

Building Fire MP x 4 Incident - Proved to be a Fire in a furnace, 5000 litres
of oil involved alight inside furnace. Fire contained and extinguished with 25
litres of foam. Works fire team also assisted at incident.
Appliances from Odsal (4701 4702), Fairweather Green (4202) and Bradford (4001)
attended.
Acton Street
House Fire - Fire on ground floor of a mid terrace property. Crews used 2
Hosereel jets and 4 Breathing apparatus, 1 female occupant suffered smoke
inhalation and burns to lower back and was given oxygen therapy and burn shield
administered by Fire Service personnel. Ambulance attended but casualty would
not go to hospital.

Animal Rescue from Water - Proved to be a Cow fallen into the canal near the
top lock being trapped between 2 barges. Crews rescued the cow from the canal
and returned it to its field.

attended with two Technical Rescue Officers.

This incident was an arson attack and under investigation FIO
officer attended.

Flat Fire Persons Reported - First floor flat's involved in fire,
Crews used 3 Hosereel jets, 6 Breathing apparatus. Fire caused an external gas
main fire and Gas board required to attend. All persons were accounted for and
proved to be no persons involved.

House Fire Persons reported - House well alight on arrival of crews, 2 Hosereel
jets and 4 Breathing apparatus and Positive Pressure Ventilation used. 3
casualties rescued by Fire Service 2 males suffering from smoke inhalation and
1 female with minor burns and severe smoke inhalation. The woman was rescued from the first floor by firefighters using a ladder. Three men were treated for
smoke inhalation at the scene.Ambulances requested for casualties.

fumes, 1 elderly female occupant suffered from inhaling the fumes and was given
oxygen therapy by Fire Service personnel. Ambulance crews also attended but
casualty did not need hospital treatment.
