Water Rescue - After receiving a call reporting a pile of clothes at side of reservoir and no sign of anyone. Full search carried out including Police Helicopter, however nothing was found.

Suspicious Package - Suspected package leaking unknown substance, Crews used 2 Chemical Protection suits and Breathing apparatus. All staff evacuated whilst fire crews investigated. Proved to be a leak from a fridge giving off an ammonia smell. Crews stood down after affected item removed from building.

Leeds Bradford Airport Whitehouse Lane, Yeadon
Aircraft in distress - Proved to be a large aircraft with 18 persons on board with report of smoke in cockpit. Aircraft landed safely and upon investigation no smoke was found and crews deployed to the runway stood down by airport personnel.

House fire - House involved and crews used 1 Hosereel jet, 2 Breathing apparatus and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan. 1 elderly female occupant was led to safety by a care worker prior to arrival of the fire service. The female occupant suffered smoke inhalation and was treated by paramedics on scene but did not go to hospital. 2 neighbours attempted to extinguish fire prior to arrival of fire service, both of them along with the care worker were given a precautionary check up by paramedics, but all were uninjured.

Drilling machine on fire - Proved to be a drilling ,drilling to a depth of 170 mts and ignited a natural gas deposit - 2 male casualties sustained flash burns  - Paramedics attended and treated casualties, fire extinguished and Transco attended the incident.  Specialist detection equipment was called for from South Yorkshire Fire Service.  Incident expected to be protracted with 1 crew from Bradford remaining on stand by overnight.
