Coates Street, West Bowling, Bradford
Building fire - Proved to be a chip pan involved in the fire and was
extinguished using a fire blanket, fire crews used a Positive Pressure Ventilation
fan to clear building of smoke. 1 female suffered smoke inhalation and an
asthma attack and was given oxygen therapy by Fire crews and then transported
to hospital by ambulance.
Appliances from Odsal (4701 4702) attended.
Saddleworth Road
Road Traffic Collision Proved to be involving 1 car which overturned and hit a
tree. On the arrival of the fire service 2 casualties were
trapped in the car,both casualties were
released by fire crews using cutting equipment and were then transported to
hospital by ambulance.

House Fire - Proved to be the cellar involved with the electricity supply
effected. Crews used 1 Hosereel jet and 2 Breathing apparatus. Elderly female
casualty was out of the house on arrival of fire crews. Ambulance was requested
for the elderly female occupier suffering effects of smoke, occupier
transported to hospital by ambulance.

attend hospital.

Persons Burnt - Proved to be 1 male casualty aged approximately 60 years burnt
after drilling through electric cable. He was transported to Bradford Royal
Infirmary by Ambulance suffering from burns to neck and one arm.

Flat Fire Persons Reported - Proved to be a cooker involved, 1 Hosereel jet and
2 Breathing apparatus used. 1 male casualty rescued from flat and received
treatment for smoke inhalation at the scene, he did not attend hospital.

be a 2 storey school building approx 50m x 60 m with classroom on ground floor
involved in fire. Crews were let in by the caretaker and found a smoke filled
hall and classroom on fire. Crews used 1 Hosereel jet, 4 Breathing apparatus
and Positive pressure ventilation.

6 pumps in attendance as relief crews. This building is at an isolated location
near the moors. Water relay still in use and crews are using 1 Large jet and 1 Ground monitor.

120m 100% involved in fire. Crews used 4 Large jets at
the Incident which is still ongoing. Relief crews are now in attendance.

Flat fire - Proved to be a 3 storey building separated into flats. Fire in
kitchen in 1 flat crews used 1 Hosereel jet and 2 Breathing apparatus. 1 male
occupant rescued by Fire service and then checked over by ambulance crews. The
casualty did not go to hospital.

inhalation and was transported to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
Fire is thought to have been caused by an unattended candle.

In total approx 320 calls received in the MACC, of
these approx half were administration related calls and duplicate calls to
incidents where resources were already attending.
Crews have attended 23 property fires, which include 11 vehicle fires, 7 house
fires and 5 building fires.
41 small fires were attended which required extinguishing, this included 13
bonfires. Other incidents made up of rubbish fires, bin fires etc.
Crews attended 55 calls which proved to be false alarms, majority of these were
fire alarms accidentally actuated, small fires that
were under control and did not require extinguishing, 6 hoax calls were
received including 2 fire alarms which were maliciously actuated.

Flat Fire - Proved to be a kitchen involved with fire out on arrival. 2
Breathing apparatus and Positive pressure ventilation were used. 1 female
aged 34 and 1 male aged 33 suffered smoke inhalation, were given oxygen therapy
by Fire Service personnel, assessed by Ambulance crews on scene but refused to
attend hospital.

mortar type firework thrown through the lounge window, fire was out on

Bonfire Report So Far - Since 17:00Hrs 270 calls have been received to
incidents in the West Yorkshire Area. 100 of these calls have been to bonfire

Garage Fire - Proved to be 1 helium cylinder and asbestos corrugated roofing
involved in fire. Crews used 2 Hosereel jets and 4 Breathing
apparatus.

Building Fire - Proved to be a firework that had been thrown into the
pub. A female aged 37 suffered a burn injury to her face and leg and was
taken to

Garage Fire - Proved to be acetylene cylinders involved. 2 ground
monitors were used. A 200m radius was evacuated and a 200m exclusion zone
was implemented around the fire. The cylinder will be cooled for the next
24 hours.

Trapped Person - Proved to be a call to assist ambulance with rescue of 1 male
casualty with head injuries trapped between 2 works units. Casualty was in
